Outline of Research at the Start

アーバスキュラー菌根（AM）菌は、多くの陸上植物と共生関係を築き、宿主植物の成長を促進する。しかし、植物がAM菌と病原菌を見分けるメカニズムに関しては、未だ不明な点が多い。本研究では、特にイネのAM共生において必須なLRR型受容体型キナーゼであるOsSYMRKと、AM共生の際に根の表面にAM菌が作る菌足に着目して、植物がAM共生を開始時に認識していると考えられる、新規のシグナル分子を探索することを目的としている。
