Outline of Research at the Start	フェロトーシスは、近年報告された新しい細胞死のメカニズムであり、神経変性疾患の原因となる神経細胞死に関わっている。本研究では、神経変性疾患の新しい予防・治療薬リードの開発を目的に、抗フェロトーシス活性を示す天然物を探索する。特に、キサントン類とプレニル化アシルフロログルシノール類に着目した探索研究を実施し、得られた抗フェロトーシス活性天然物の構造活性相関の検討により、活性発現のための最適な化学構造を明らかにすることで、神経変性疾患の予防・治療薬リードを見出す。
