Outline of Research at the Start	本研究の目的は、がん抑制候補遺伝子RECKの免疫担当細胞への関与を検証し、生体のもつ腫瘍抑制システムに如何に寄与するか明らかにすることである。具体的には、[1] 腫瘍細胞を除く役割のある細胞性免疫担当細胞でRECKを欠損させたマウスを作成し、腫瘍移植実験によって腫瘍抑制能の有無を調べる。[2] RECKが免疫チェックポイント分子の安定性に影響を与える可能性を検討する。本研究からRECKと免疫担当細胞との関係が解明されれば、発癌機構およびがん免疫療法に新たな視点を提供することになる。
