Outline of Research at the Start

精神疾患の強迫症(obsessive-compulsive disorder; OCD)は、生涯有病率は1～2%とされ、若年発症の上、寛解率は50%程度、約50％の再発率であり、患者の人生に大きく影響する疾患である。抗うつ薬など治療方法が実用化されているが、依然として発症機序が明らかとなっておらず、治療抵抗性を示すこともしばしば認められる。様々な併存疾患とOCDの治療抵抗性との関連性が指摘されており、強迫症状における免疫学的な機序が提唱されている。そこで本研究は、OCD患者を対象に併存疾患別に免疫学的な関与を明らかにするとともに、治療抵抗性の違いを解析して強迫症の免疫学的機序解明を行う。
