Outline of Research at the Start	ヒストン脱アセチル化酵素（HDAC）ファミリーに属する HDAC6 はタンパク質病変を形成するアルツハイマー病やパーキンソン病などの神経変性疾患の発症において大きな役割を担っていると考えられる。しかし、脳内 HDAC6 の発現分布や疾患における発現量の変化については不明な点が多く、陽電子断層撮像法（PET）を用いて脳内 HDAC6 を定量・検出する技術の開発が求められている。本研究では、有望な 18F-標識 HDAC6 プローブについて、ファーストインヒューマン研究を実施する。本研究の成果は、神経変性疾患における HDAC6 の役割解明や HDAC6 を標的とした治療薬の開発に大きく貢献する。
