Outline of Research at the Start	慢性腎臓病(Chronic Kidney Disease: CKD)は高齢化社会に伴って、本邦を含めて世界的に増加している。しかし、根本的な予防法・治療法が無いため、その病態解明と治療法開発は喫緊の課題である。本研究では、CKDと腎臓老化に対するマクロファージ鉄ストレスの役割を明らかにする病態解明研究と、トランスクリプトーム網羅的解析による鉄ストレス標的因子を同定する標的探索研究を行う。マクロファージ鉄ストレスという新たな観点からのCKDと腎臓老化に対する病態解明と治療戦略構築のパラダイムシフトを目指す。
