がん自壊創は, がんの転移や浸潤により創傷を形成するため, 難治性で有効な治療法,ケア方法が確立されていない. かつてがん自壊創を有する進行性乳がん患者は緩和ケアが中心であったが, 医療の進歩により在宅療養や社会復帰を目指すまでに至っている. がん自壊創を抱えながら地域に戻るには, 患者自身ががん自壊創をセルフケアできることが重要である. 本研究は, 治療期から在宅療養期の患者・家族が抱える苦悩や問題, 必要不可欠なセルフケア, Survivorshipを充実するための障壁を明確化し, 自壊創を有する進行性乳がん患者のセルフケアを支援するための看護実践モデルを構築することを目指す.
