Outline of Research at the Start	摂食行動は、生存のためにエネルギー摂取量を調節する恒常性(homeostatic)調節と嗜好性・情動を介する快楽性(hedonic)調節により調節されている。これまで、摂食行動における性差や性ホルモンの影響に関する研究はほとんどが恒常性(エネルギー摂取)調節に関するもので、快楽性調節に及ぼす性差や性ホルモンの影響はほとんど解明されていない。本研究では、実験動物を用いて快楽性調節を刺激する嗜好性の高い食物が選択可能な条件での摂食行動に及ぼす性差、性ホルモンの影響とそれに関与する脳部位および脳内物質を明らかにし、快楽性調節と恒常性調節の関係に及ぼす性差、性ホルモンの影響を明らかにする。
