Outline of Research at the Start

子宮内炎症は早産児から成熟児まで広範囲にわたり身体と精神発達に悪影響を及ぼす。一方で、炎症だけに焦点を当てたアプローチでは児の予後改善は望めない。本研究では、出生直後の腸内細菌叢と炎症性マーカーに着眼した。具体的には、子宮内炎症が児の腸内細菌叢に及ぼす変化と、炎症性マーカーの変動の関係を明らかにする。そして、最終的には児の成長や発達に与える影響を解明する。これにより、子宮内で炎症暴露を避けられなかった児に対する予後改善の可能性を、腸内細菌叢の正常化というアプローチによって追求したい。
