Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、気候変動と生物多様性の課題に対処するための「NbS（Nature-based Solutions）」の一環として、日本の伝統的河川工法に着目し、その機能を科学的に評価することを目的とする。空石積み構造物に代表される伝統工法の環境機能と治水機能を定量的に明らかにし、対象流域全体に適用した場合の効果を検証する。これにより、NbSとしての伝統工法がネイチャーポジティブな流域治水にどの程度貢献するかを明らかにし、持続可能な河川管理手法を提案する。本研究は、伝統技術の現代課題への応用と流域全体での効果検証において独自性を持ち、気候変動や生態系保全に対する新たな視点を提供する。
