Outline of Research at the Start

清の康熙年間（1662-1722）に編纂された叢書『説鈴』には、各地の風物や見聞、志怪などを記した文言の紀行文や筆記小説が収録されている。その近世日本での受容は、当時の日本人の中国の文学作品に対する需要や認識を窺う材料として注意に値する。
本研究は、『説鈴』のテキストを精査し、その上で、①「読む」行為に焦点を当て、従来あまり考察されていない明清の文言筆記類の書物が日本でどのように受容されたか、②その受容の実態が日本人の中国の文学作品への認識においてどのような意味を持っているか、という二つの問いの解決を試みる。それによって、日本における中国文学受容史の研究に新たな視点と方法を提示したい。
