Outline of Research at the Start

日本人視神経脊髄炎患者を対象に世界最大規模のゲノムワイド関連解析（GWAS）を実施し、さらにHLA領域の関連解析を実施することで疾患感受性領域の網羅的な探索を行う。次に、GWASデータの有意水準を緩めることで、弱い疾患感受性を持つ多数のSNPを用いて疾患発症リスクを推計する手法であるポリジェニックリスクスコア(PRS)を活用することで視神経脊髄炎患者の層別化を行い、疾患発症リスクの推計や、予後予測に役立つデータベースを構築する。
