Outline of Research at the Start

本邦の透析患者は高齢化の一途を辿り、サルコペニア・身体的フレイルなどにより健康寿命が脅かされている。透析患者の多くは食欲低下・低栄養を訴える患者が多く、これらを助長する状況にある。近年、透析患者の口腔機能低下・オーラルフレイルの有病率が高いことが報告されているが、食欲低下・低栄養との関連は不明である。透析患者の口腔健康を検討していくうえでは、多職種連携が重要である。そこで、本研究は透析患者の食欲低下・低栄養とオーラルフレイルの関連を検討し、その結果をもとに看護・医科・歯科の専門職がシームレスに協働し透析患者の食欲・栄養状態改善のためのオーラルフレイル改善プログラムを開発することを目的とする。
