| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究の目的は、100℃未満の低温廃熱を有効利用するための蓄熱材への応用を志向した、カルボキシメチルセルロース（CMC）由来の高性能かつ環境にやさしい相転移材料（PCM）の開発である。まず、水溶性の高分子電解質であるCMCを二官能性エポキシ架橋剤を用いて化学架橋し、ヒドロゲルを調製する。得られたゲルにイオン性の添加剤を加えて加熱することで、高分子相と水相の“強い相分離”を誘導し、従来の有機系PCMを凌駕する高い蓄熱性能の実現を目指す。
