Outline of Research at the Start

The detection of gravitational waves in 2015 has enabled unprecedented precision in testing Einstein's theory of general relativity, leading to a new interdisciplinary field that blends high-energy physics methods namely scattering amplitudes with classical general relativity. This project aims to extend these techniques to modified theories of gravity, which have not yet been explored using these methods. Such advancements could provide new constraints and insights into these theories, enhancing our understanding of gravitational wave physics.
