Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Importance of learner corpus studies is widely understood by SLA researchers, but the learners' L2 spoken data freely available has been limited. In the current project, therefore, we developed a new learner corpus, The ICNALE-Spoken. It collects topic-controlled speeches by learners in ten countries and areas in Asia as well as English native speakers. We also analyzed the lexis and syntax of learners' L2 speeches.
