Outline of Final Research Achievements

Microorganism flora in the compost using the gingko fallen leaves which is difficult to make composization was examined. As a result, microorganism flora changed widely during the compost process. Microorganisms were obtained from the compost when internal temperature risen in the compost process and PCBs degradation by microorganism was analyzed. The results were obtained that the PCB amount in the medium decreased in about half within all samples. In particular, the decrease of the PCB amount to about 90% was confirmed by one bacteria.
