Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Recently German Idealism is reviewed by analytic philosophers, esp. the reevaluation of Kant and Hegel by Robert Brandom and John McDowell is very significant in contemporary philosophy. In this research I tried to develop their works by reviewing the theory of judgment by Fichte. I pointed out that Fichte claimed the semantic holism. Adding to that, I expanded the inferential theory of meaning by Brandom from the point of view of relation between questions and answers. Further I organized an international conference on the transcendental argument and its result will be published in USA in soon.
