Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aimed to explore the factors that will facilitate the development of industrial districts from the perspective of network theory, trying to make theoretical and practical contributions. From qualitative studies conducted in east Aichi prefecture area, we have come to present the conceptual model as follows: Similarity among actors such as belonging to the same trade association would have positive effect on the density of the network. Also, the high density of, existence of a clique within, and the centralization of a network would have positive effects on innovation within industrial districts.
