Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research projects aims to reveal the policy makings and implementations of contemporary Japanese government using quantitative dataset. Especially the focus of the research put on changes of central ministries after the rearrangement of those in 2001. The analysis shows that Cabinet Secretariat put more weights on policy making in recent years. At the same time it does not means the decline of policy makings of other ministries. In addition to that, this decade by itself has a variety in it. Each government shows the different weight on Cabinet Secretariat and other ministries.
