Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aimed to formulate an analytical framework through interdisciplinary collaboration to understand the developmental critical period in which early childhood education and science education researchers develop a foundation for the attitude and values necessary to promote lifelong science learning. The study successfully used leading case studies on early childhood education in Japan and elsewhere to clarify the requirements to prevent alienation from science occurring at a younger age and established a provisional analytical framework based on those requirements.
