Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Starting to examine the detail about night-owl behavior of mutant mice, I realized that it is difficult to determine the condition of Dox administration by using those mice. This is because not all the mutant mice show night-owl behavior and LD to DD light conditioning is required to examine it. So I used different mutant mice which would be controllable by Dox administration and do show less weight and less sleep phenotypes. During this research period, I succeeded in inducing and reversing those phenotypes by just Dox administration via food. Based on the condition of those results, in the future, I will analyze night-owl behavior and determine when the behavior is determined to be repressed.
