Collection analyzes the record about an earthquake, the tsunami which occurred for the early modern times period mainly, and this study shows information to contribute to current disaster prevention in "a collection of eastern sea relationship distortions inside sash in Japan".
Famine and the thing for Sanriku tsunamis were the center, and the history of disaster study of the Tohoku district has not attracted attention of the history earthquake, the tsunami of the Sea of Japan side conventionally. However, the earthquake of the M7 class is often generated in this area in the past, and in late years Hokkaido southwest offing earthquake occurs in 1993. It will be the area where the outbreak of an earthquake, the tsunami is concerned about in future. I approach the real image by examining the history disaster that occurred in the area and elucidate it about a stricken area and a trend and the revival of each Tohoku district feudal clan where it was.
