図形の曲がり具合という，古くから調べられている数学的な対象を，さまざまな立場から現代的なアプローチで研究する．そして多岐に渡っている現代幾何学分野の間にできるだけ多くの新しい橋を架ける．そのために本チームメンバーの専門分野の多様性を存分に用いる．
