Outline of Research at the Start

ヒル類は，食性と生息環境の移行，そして保育行動の獲得という進化が起こったグループである．本研究計画では，ゲノム全体から縮約した超保存領域を用いたゲノム系統解析によって頑健な系統関係を構築する．ヒル類内の高次系統関係の詳細な理解を通して，ヒル類における保育行動の進化史，海洋進出過程，そして陸上進出と食性移行過程の解明に取り組み，ヒル類において生じた生態的特性や行動様式の進化史の包括的理解を目指す．
