Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、五代友厚関係文書を含む「大阪商工会議所所蔵史料」（大商史料）を素材に、近世以来の官民をまたいだ社会関係を紐帯に属人的な要素を多く持つ近代初期の行財政の新たな一面を描き出すことを目的とする。
大商史料は未翻刻や原則非公開の史料を多く含み、近代初期研究に新たな事実を提示する好材料である。厳密な解読と考証を基礎に、財政・経済政策、事業、市場や制度など多角的な視点から大商史料を捉え、各テーマの研究更新と、五代や会議所を起点に形成される社会関係や人的ネットワークを広く浮かび上がらせることを目指す。
