Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、さまざまな社会資源が減少する中で、災害が常態化する状態を経験する社会を「災間社会」と名づけ、そこで生じる問題のありようと解決策を明らかにするものである。日本社会は、近年、災害が毎年のように発生するようになり、同じ地域が短期間のうちに何度も被災することも珍しくなくなった。一方で、日本社会ではさまざまな社会指標が右肩下がりに転じている。災害対応に必要な社会資源が減少する中で、災害が常態化すると、どのような問題が生じるのか、それはどのように解決可能なのか。被災者支援の活動への参与観察から問題のありようを記述するとともに、どのような社会構造が問題の根源にあるのかを明らかにする。
