Outline of Research at the Start

学生の国際的な流動性を高めることで推進されてきた大学国際化は、コロナ禍を経て高まる地政学的リスクと安全保障の影響を強く受けている。これらの懸念から、大学国際化の再検討・再構築の議論が欧米を中心に深まっているが、各国が抱える国内問題や高等教育の状況が異なることもあって、その議論は多様化、混迷の様相を見せている。一方、東アジアでのこの課題への研究は始まったばかりであり、世界的な議論に参画できていない。本研究は、東アジアにおいて大学国際化の概念、政策、実践がいかに変化しているのか当該地域の研究者と連携して調査を行い、大学国際化の再検討・再構築の世界的な議論に対して、東アジアの独自の知見を投げかける。
