Outline of Research at the Start

近年の人工知能（AI）の発展は、個人データを解析して、商品やサービスを価格やスペックの面で消費者個別に最適化するパーソナライゼーションを可能にしている。例えば，アプリを通じた配車サービスや食料品の販売などが当てはまる．ところで，個人情報保護やAIへの規制を強化する動きは、データ提供やAI技術開発へのインセンティヴに影響しうる。こうした背景を受け、パーソナライゼーションが消費者利益に資する状況を、理論分析を行い明らかにする。本研究の特色は，個人データの量とAI技術の質を、消費者と企業が各自の好きなように決めるという設定にある。これを元に，AI規制，個人情報保護規制や競争政策などの運用を考察する．
