為替換算差額やその他有価証券評価差額など、市況変動を考慮するその他の包括利益を当期純利益に加減したものが包括利益である。わが国の先行研究では、包括利益及びその他の包括利益を利用できるようになった後に、株式市場の参加者であるアナリストがこれらの利益を自身の予想に織り込むか充分な検証がなされていない。申請者は、財務状況の優劣（主に現金の動き）によって、アナリストが包括利益やその他の包括利益を織り込む程度や解釈の正確性が変わるかを検証する。特に、その他の包括利益の符号やキャッシュ・フローの動き、リサイクリングにも注目する。株主やアナリスト反応の理由や状況を捉え、基準設定主体の議論の素材を提供したい。
