Outline of Research at the Start

現在の学校英語教育では，コミュニケーションのための単語や句，文といった比較的短い言葉の理解と表出が，小・中学校で積極的に音声を用いて学習指導されている。さらに今後は，高等学校段階で，読解や聴解の上で話す・書く統合型の技能学習指導が中心となる。本研究では，円滑に統合型の技能学習指導を進めていくに当たり，その基盤となる学習者の言語情報処理過程，とりわけ音韻処理基盤に即して，段階的に外国語運用能力を育成するための学術的探究を展開する。理論研究と実践研究を両立させながら調和と融合を図り，学習者の視点に立った英語運用能力教授学習評価理論を提案する。
