Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、日本建築史学の成立過程をその前史から解明しようとするものである。具体的には以下の課題を設定する。 A 近代国学者による行政活動および文化事業における建築史的学知 B 明治前半期の社寺宝物調査における建築への関心の様相 C 明治前半期の建築家が日本建築に向けた関心の所在 D 上記A～Cに関わる国学者・建築家等と、工匠との関わり以上4点の解明を通して、日本建築史学成立前夜にあたる明治前半期における建築史的な学知・情報のありかたを理解し、日本建築史学の成立過程の全体像を描くことを目的とする。
