Outline of Research at the Start

Persistent organic pollutants (POPs) are pollutants that can stay in the environment for a long time and are harmful to human. It is therefore necessary to develop an effective way to detect the presence of POPs in the environment. In this research, we will develop a new class of materials, namely hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks (HOFs), for the detection of POPs.
