Outline of Research at the Start	がん薬物療法は抗癌剤に対する耐性の問題を抱えており、治療効果は限定的となることが多い。中でも小細胞肺癌は薬物療法が速やかに奏功するが、驚くべき速度で再発し、抗癌剤が奏功しなくなる。 2000年代初頭に、エトポシド＋シスプラチン療法が開発されてから、薬物療法の大きな進歩はなく、全ステージでの5年生存率は10.6%と極めて予後が悪い。抗癌剤耐性を克服する手段、あるいは抗癌剤耐性を標的とした治療法を開発することで、この現状を打破する必要がある。本研究は、抗癌剤耐性を有する癌で発現亢進する分子を標的とした抗体を作製する。
