Outline of Research at the Start	分子遺伝学的知見を踏まえて脳腫瘍の病理診断を高精細化し、個々の症例を適切に層別化していくことは時代の要請であり、基礎と臨床をブリッジする立場にある病理学の果たすべき役割は非常に大きいものがあります。私たちは分類困難あるいは希少な脳腫瘍に光を当てて、膨大な累積脳腫瘍検体から該当例を抽出し、分子遺伝学的プロファイリングを加えて腫瘍概念の輪郭や生物学的特徴を明らかにしていく研究をおこなっています。
