Outline of Research at the Start

近年、メタボローム解析などの技術革新により、がん細胞に特異的な代謝動態を分子標的とする治療法の開発が行われている。しかし、がん細胞の代謝可塑性により耐性が生じるため、効果は限定的であり、臨床応用されていないのが現状である。本研究では、がん細胞で亢進しているグルタミン代謝に焦点をあて、グルタミントランスポーター阻害剤への耐性を引き起こす大腸がん細胞の代謝可塑性を明らかにする。そして、代謝可塑性を引き起こすシグナル伝達経路や代謝経路の変化を併用療法の分子標的とする、新たな大腸がん治療法の開発を行う。
