Outline of Research at the Start

我々は，糖の多量摂取がニューロエストロゲンの産生を抑えてメスマウスの仔育て行動を低下させることを見出した。糖質はストレスに対して一時的に抵抗性を与えるが、うつや不安障害などの精神疾患のリスク因子でもある。我々は産後うつや更年期障害、月経前症候群がニューロエストロゲン産生を介して糖と関係していると考えている。本申請研究では培養細胞と遺伝子改変マウスを用いて，糖がニューロエストロゲンの作用を低下させる分子機構の解明を目指す。さらに，本学の産婦人科外来を受診している産後うつや更年期の患者の協力を得て検証も実施し、実臨床への橋渡しを行う。
