Outline of Research at the Start

「糖化ストレス」は、体内の糖やアルデヒドによる細胞や組織への影響と、それに伴う反応を指し、運動機能にも関与するとされる。しかし、その増加要因や運動機能への影響は明確に解明されていない。
本研究では、遺伝子多型と糖化ストレス、運動機能の関係を調査する。近年、遺伝子の違いが運動能力に影響を与えることが注目され、糖化ストレスに関連する遺伝子にも多型があることが分かっている。
そこで、健康な成人を対象に、糖化関連遺伝子や筋肉の性質に関わる遺伝子の多型と運動機能・糖化ストレスの関係を分析し、糖化ストレスと運動機能の関連性を明らかにすることを目的とする。
