Outline of Research at the Start

歯周病は口腔のみならず全身疾患との関連が報告されており、近年では口腔内細菌叢と腸内細菌叢が相互に影響を与えるという口腔－腸軸（Oral-Gut Axis）が提唱され、口腔ケアは予防医学的に重要な課題となっている。
本研究では口腔ケアとして多くの歯科領域研究での有効性が検証されている舌清掃とオイルうがいに着目し、Oral-Gut Axisの観点から舌清掃とオイルうがいによる口腔内細菌叢を通じた腸内細菌叢の改善効果を2つのRCTにて検証する。
