Outline of Research at the Start	近年、まちなかの道路空間について、車中心の交通空間から人中心の公共空間へ転換が求められる中、歩道拡幅や滞留施設の導入、歩行者天国等の社会実験が全国各地で急増している。しかしながら、効果的な社会実験のデザイン手法については十分な研究蓄積がなく、海外都市における先進事例の技術的知見と国内都市における実証実験に基づく技術開発が求められる。本研究は、欧州・米州における先進的な取り組みを参照しながら、暫定的・一時的な社会実験を、持続的・恒常的な公共空間再生の取り組みへ展開するための体系的な計画・実装技術を、デザイン思考に基づくトータルデザインの手法として構築するものである。
