Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は，18・19世紀のイギリス韻文作品を国際音声字母(IPA)に変換したデータを用い，コーパスを構築し，機械学習や統計を応用した定量的手法を用いて分析することにより，作品や詩人の音の特徴や，これまで論じられてこなかった音に関連する新たな側面を網羅的に明らかにしようとするものである。本研究の目的は1.IPAに変換された18・19世紀英韻文作品コーパスを構築し，ウェブ上にて公開する。2.構築したIPAコーパスを用い，18・19世紀英韻文作品の音の特徴を，統計や機械学習を応用した定量的手法を用いてそれぞれ詩人，作品間の比較分析を行い，詩人や作品の音の特徴を明らかにすることである。
