Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、非財務情報開示が日本企業のM&A（合併・買収）に与える影響を明らかにする。近年日本のM&A市場は活発化しているが、期待通りの成果に結びつかないケースが多い。その要因として経営者の機会主義的行動や情報の非対称性が挙げられるが、近年の非財務情報の開示拡大により、これらの問題が緩和される可能性がある。本研究ではいくつかの非財務情報開示拡大の具体例に焦点を当て、それらがM&Aのパフォーマンスに実体的な影響を与えているかを検証することで、学術的な新たな知見を得るともに、重要性が増している非財務情報開示に関する実務的な示唆を提供する。
