本研究は、生体が脂肪酸の多様な化学構造をどのように認識しているのか、その認識機構を明らかにすることを目的とする。得られた知見をもとに、脂肪酸の特異的な認識を応用し、薬物を標的臓器へ選択的に送達する新たな創薬技術の開発を目指す。
