Outline of Research at the Start	細胞外のAβがヘパラン硫酸プロテオグリカンを介して細胞内に移行することを見出し、その移行に関与する酵素を明らかにした。この結果をもとに本研究では、細胞内に移行したAβがリソソームの機能を障害する結果としてタウタンパク質が細胞内に蓄積するという可能性を検証するために、Aβを投与した培養細胞のリソソームの解析ならびにリソソームを人為的に障害させた時の細胞内タウタンパク質の挙動を調べる。これによりアミロイド仮説を証明し、研究成果を新たな治療戦略の開発に結びつけたい。
