Outline of Research at the Start

近年，がん細胞の代謝が注目されているが，グリオーマにおけるミトコンドリアの研究は進んでいない．本研究では手術で摘出したグリオーマ組織中からミトコンドリアDNA (mtDNA) を抽出し，網羅的に解析することでグリオーマ特異的なmtDNA異常を見出す．更にグリオーマ患者の脳脊髄液から抽出したcell-free DNAから同異常の同定を試み感度を飛躍的に向上させた刷新的 liquid biopsy の確立を目指す．
