Outline of Research at the Start

食道がんは消化器がんの中で特に治療が難しく生存率の低いがんであり、手術の奏功に関わらず、術後の誤嚥や口腔機能障害などの合併症の発症頻度が高いことが特徴である。そのため術後早期に摂食嚥下リハビリテーションの介入を行うことは、合併症やそれに伴う低栄養状態の予防、回復において重要である。本研究では急性期病院で手術を受けた食道がん患者を対象とした急性期病院から慢性期病院まで継続する実装可能なリハビリテーションプランの開発を目指し、手術後の患者の社会復帰までの道筋を追う。
