Outline of Research at the Start

従来、生活習慣に起因する脂肪性肝疾患は、アルコール性脂肪肝と非アルコール性脂肪性肝疾患に分けて考えられてきた。しかし、近年ではこの2つの病態の発症・重症化に共通して寄与する生物学的メカニズムが存在することが示唆されている。このような背景から、2023年6月に新たな脂肪性肝疾患の概念としてMASLD（Metabolic Dysfunction Associated Steatotic Liver Disease）が提唱された。本研究では、従来の脂肪性肝疾患のリスク因子や予防因子とMASLDとの関連を評価する。加えて、MASLDに関連する新た摂食・飲酒行動パターンが存在しうるか検討する。
