Outline of Research at the Start

我々は最近,高温で柔粘性結晶となり,室温で強誘電体となる化合物群「柔粘性/強誘電性イオン結晶」を開発した.この新しい分子性強誘電結晶群は多軸性の強誘電体であるため,多結晶体でも強誘電体として機能する.また,粉末を押し固めるだけで,容易にさまざまな形状の多結晶体を作製可能である.本研究では,この柔粘性/強誘電性イオン結晶の熱量効果に注目し,高性能な固体冷却材料の実現につながる材料開発を行う.
