Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Based on single-site photocatalysts (isolated four-coordinated oxide species, photofunctional metal complex) prepared in pore space and framework using nanoporous materials such as zeolite, mesoporous silica and metal organic frameworks (MOF). We have developed environmentally-friendly functional materials such as visible light responsive photocatalysts with high activity and high selectivity, plasmonic metal nanocatalysts, and superhydrophilic superhydrophobic thin films. By controlling the pore structure and surface chemistry, we have made it possible to improve the efficiency of hydrogen production and one-pot reaction.
