|Outline of Final Research Achievements
The results obtained in this study were:
(1) Various Mn4+-activated red phosphors (Rb2SiF6:Mn4+, BaGeF6:Mn4+, etc.), (2) Mn2+-activated yellow phosphor (K2SiF6:Mn2+), (3) metal-organic decomposition (MOD)-synthesized phosphors (Al2O3:Tb3+, Ga2O3:Tb3+,Eu3+, etc.), (4) MOD-synthesized garnet phosphors (Tb3Al5O12:Ce3+, Tb3Ga5O12:Eu3+, etc.), (5) some oxide phosphors (CaTiO3:Eu3+, Eu2Ti2O7, etc.) were prepared and systematically evaluated. Moreover, some rare-earth－non-rare-earth-coactivated phosphors (NaCl:Ce3+,Sn2+, CaZrO3:Eu3+,Bi3+, etc.) were prepared and characterized.
